Open on the Present Day:
Oh that fiddly paper that wraps Mary Janes… it’s so frustrating. All I want is a mouthful of peanut butter covered taffy deliciousness. But the paper is caught in the folds of the candy. I tease a corner with my nail, but i just tear off a tiny shred.

Cut to April 18th, 1775. Night:
Paul Revere rides from his home in the North End of Boston. The British are advancing, Revere has to rouse the militias and get to Lexington to warn them of the danger. The American War of Independence is about to begin.

Present Day:
I still can’t get the wrapper off this candy!!! I remember why I rarely eat Mary Janes.
